Activity description

FIDA SpA is a leading Italian producer of candies (soft pectin gelées, hard candies, hard-filled candies, toffee-fudge).

Founded in 1973 in Castagnole delle Lanze, starting from the idea of making fruit pectin gelées following a traditional recipe, FIDA achieved a prominent position in the reference market thanks to its main brand Le Bonelle Gelées; this position was reinforced in 2016 when FIDA bought from Nestlé the historical brands of Perugina’s candies among which Rossana, Glacia, Spicchi, Fondenti, Lemoncella.

The company’s main aim has always been the one to concentrate research and investment in specific market niches, in order to create unique products, true confectionery specialties. For more than 40 years what characterizes FIDA is the link between the careful selection of ingredients and the most updated productive technologies, applied to artisanal methods, in order to generate candies of the highest quality.

The Company has achieved the internationally recognised FSSC22000 certification. The consumers are the focus of all the efforts, as FIDA wants to offer them premium products, that can be eaten freely and safely, suitable for the whole family. According to the product, are provided properties that are fundamental in every day’s life: as the absence of gluten, the use of natural flavours, the absence of artificial colorings, the use of only fruit pectine, the absence of sugar, the suitability for vegetarian and vegan.
